7. The Plot Will Be About Rebuilding The Wasteland

At this point, fans already know that the purpose of Vault 76 - and by extension the rest of the control vaults - is to rebuild the world back to something resembling a civilisation, and it's all but confirmed that that's what you'll be doing in the spinoff.

Sources have indicated that players will be embarking on a quest to explore post-war Virginia in its infancy, getting to grips with this new world and being some of the first humans to properly get a lay of this post-apocalyptic land. While this will certainly be a completely different kind of sandbox than fans are used to - for instance, Super Mutants have only just been created - there will be familiar enemies, characters and locations to interact with.

Whether you have familiar iconography to lean on or not though, it won't be an easy task to rebuild civilisation, but at least you won't be accomplishing the task alone...
