Fan-Casting The Legend Of Zelda TV Show

Casting Princess Zelda would be an incredibly challenging task, as you need to capture the delicate/high-status aspects of her presentation whilst not falling into the potholes of making her seem weak or painting her as an outdated damsel in distress. Zelda needs to walk the line between fragility and toughness perfectly, which is not an easy thing to do.

Thankfully, there are plenty of actors who excel at such roles, and Anya Taylor-Joy is easily one of them. She has shown plenty of times that she's efficient in making her characters spirited and brave but has also proven herself to be soft-spoken and refined. A bridge between these two sides of Zelda would make her compelling, and Taylor-Joy would undoubtedly build it.

Additionally, she has a perfect look for the role. Her bright blonde hair suits the character's aesthetic, as she has the ideal face for fantasy. There is an almost elven quality to her look, thanks to her large eyes and high cheekbones, which would make her fit perfectly into the series.

She's regal, physically capable and looks the part, so it's hard to think of anyone who'd do a better job.
