Far Cry 5: 10 Things We Can't Wait To Do
2. Go Crazy With The Arcade Editor
An underrated highlight of all the Far Cry games so far has been the map editor. Included from the second game onwards, over the years fans have been able to create their own imaginative additional content as the tools at their disposal have become more and more sophisticated. However, none of those prior iterations come close to matching the scope of the Arcade editor in the upcoming sequel.
Giving players the ability to create either their own single-player levels or multiplayer modes, everything from the objectives to the look and layout of every map can be customised as they see fit. Not only with the assets already present in the game either, but with anything from this series as well as Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs.
Players who have gotten their hands on the editor early have seen everything from creepy, surreal survival-horror sequences to high-tension assassinations across the same tropical beaches from the third game, and it's clear that these creations will only get even more inventive when the title eventually drops.
