6. More Dynamic Events In The World
A truly great open-world game needs to feel alive in every respect, and considering we're routinely traversing packed jungles and luscious environments full of animals and humans attempting to weave a society throughout, it's rare you stumble across anything already in progress. Far Cry 4 introduced the occasional bear fight and you'd also come across rebels fighting with Pagan Min's men, but for the most part the only sensation you got of any cogs turning was by your own hand. We're yet to see any substantial chunks of gameplay for Primal, so this could go either way, but if Ubisoft want to establish a sensation of every living creature fighting for survival, we need to see an ecosystem butting heads every few minutes. Depending on certain locations there could be hunting grounds for the sabretooth tigers we've seen in the pre-release footage, and as there's already going to be an increased focus on crafting, the risk-reward that goes alongside navigating these areas would speak for itself.
