Far Cry Primal - 9 Big Things It Must Fix From 4

4. No More 'Eccentric' Villains

Despite Troy Baker giving his all to Pagan Min, Far Cry 4's overly verbose lead villain got the vast majority of his appeal from cribbing off Michael Mando's fantastic role as FC 3's Vaas. For the most part, Far Cry 4 was a retread of all the things you loved from 3 in the first place, but unlike Metal Gear Solid 2, it was completely unaware of this fact, essentially cashing in on the former's success for the sake of appearing on next generation consoles. Thanks to the Stone Age setting of Primal and the fact the vast majority of characters will be speaking in native languages (thereby subtitled) alongside being completely unaffected/uninfluenced by any form of media whatsoever, it should mean any main villain has a far more visceral and physically intimidating edge. On the other hand, should Far Cry continue having a truly memorable villain in every instalment, simply as a series quirk we could warm to looking forward to?
