Far Cry Primal - 9 Big Things It Must Fix From 4

1. Not Just A Reskin

One of the biggest problems with Assassin's Creed as time went by, was simply that we knew from watching any footage of it in action, precisely how it was going to play. It's one thing to spot reused animations or art assets in annual/regularly released titles, but it's something else entirely to have a considerable reduction in expectation or originality as soon as something gets demoed. For Primal, Ubisoft have been more careful with their PR across the board (Assassin's Creed is reportedly taking a year off too), and as of yet we've not seen enough of it to really make a call on if it's just an incremental step-up in terms of mechanics, or a genuine step up. To that end, Far Cry 4 was almost exactly the same as 3, its changes being more subtle and graphical. For 2016's instalment, depending on how it's received, the real question then becomes; is an entirely new setting where the franchise is heading from here? Are you psyched for new Far Cry, or is two years still too short a time to release a sequel? Let us know in the comments!
