1. Generate Realistic Calendars
The way they generate your calendar is one of the most annoying problems of FIFA. They have no real logic in them - in your first season they can be acceptable, depending on if you chose to play in Europe or not but then the calendars in the second season and beyond are beyond ridiculous. The reason why the first season's calendar can be okay is because FIFA takes it from the actual calendar which that league has that season so the game has something to go on. The real problems start when you choose to play in Europe or qualify for Europe. The problem is that that the game just squashes as many games as it can together, for example, i was playing as Juventus and I had a Champion's Cup game on Wednesday, a league game on Friday and another on Sunday. That's probably as bad as it gets in season one, but the second season then it's much worse, because FIFA, with a lack of anything to go on, decide to make things up. The annoying things I had were six games in two weeks, happening more than once a month. It's also much harder if you choose a top team in the Barclays Premier League, since you are going for four trophies and most of the time you can have three games in a row with only one day break in between, leaving you having to buy in lots of really random cheap players just so i have a big enough squad to play these matches. The worst thing is probably when they group matches against teams like Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal all in a week, it's like FIFA is deliberately trying to mess with you. This is probably something that they actually might have fixed and i would be a very happy person if they have. The truth is though FIFA might not put as much effort into fixing problems, because they have no competition. No one is going to dump FIFA and go to PES - this just doesn't happen and EA knows this, so they don't try as hard. But still, there used to be a time when EA used to work their ass off to create and incredible football game, and I'd like them to get back to that.
