FIFA 14: 5 Improvements EA Must Make

4. Better Trophy Celebration Footage

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EEVlh3-ynE One of the main reasons to embark on a long, drawn out season in career mode is to lead our favourite team to glory in the Premier League, Championship, La Liga or Bundesliga, depending upon your persuasion. Having battled our way through fixture after fixture, game after game, experiencing both the highs of victory and crushing lows of defeats, we expect to be rewarded with something. It's the same with any game. If you go through Campaign Mode in Call of Duty you expect a compelling narrative, awesome cut-scenes and an ending to kill for. In FIFA, after we've spent actual weeks of our lives guiding Norwich to the top of the Premier League, we expect something satisfying at the end; in terms of football, this is a video of our heroes lifting the trophy they have just won. If you skip to the 16 minute mark on the above video, you will see EA's attempts at a trophy celebration video. It is flat, it is lame, and it is just embarrassing. The commentators have nothing more insightful to say than "they've done it, they're the champions" and make no specific reference at all to the achievement in question. The crowd volume is so low it's as though they've just sat through a 0-0 draw and the atmosphere is non-existent. Watch the below trophy celebration and tell me if EA get anywhere close to replicating it in their FIFA series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-ysDlLiCQI
