FIFA 14: 5 Small (But Incredibly Irritating) Things EA Need To Fix

1. Trophy Celebrations (Are Also Awful)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYrlk4TJjhc As well as goal celebrations, FIFA games have never quite been able to master trophy celebrations, either. Let's watch the above video. Manchester United have just won the Capital One Cup, and there's no commentary. Not a single word or thought from Martin Tyler or Clive Tyldesley, at any stage. Talk about a lack of atmosphere. Ticker tape is apparently falling from the sky itself before disappearing through the grass floor rather than landing in heaps, while the crowd let out one single, continuous monotonous groan. The players then gather in the centre circle and lay down on the floor next to a trophy with blue rather than red ribbons to complete the disaster as EA's half-assed attempt at a trophy celebration comes to a close. For a start, there would be commentary. The ticker tape would accumulate on the grass and would be visible on the pitch, the trophy presentation would take place in the stands, and the ribbons would match the colour of the team who won the cup. These are all small, fine details, but it is sometimes the small things that make all the difference in games such as these and sadly, EA seldomly get any of these things right. What annoys you about the FIFA series? What would you like EA to fix? Let us know in the comment section, below.
