FIFA 14: 6 Players Bought By A Guy Who Doesn't Know Football

1. Devante Cole

Pricetag: $2M + Kevin Doyle, ST

If there's a crown jewel of this particular idiot manager's time at the helm of Wolves, it's the acquisition of striker Devante Cole from Manchester City. Between he and Joe Hart, there's almost no chance they'll ever want to sell me a player again.

I bought Cole in the most recent transfer window for the meager price seen above, and in only eight BPL games he has 13 goals. He's among the fastest players in the league and has an incredibly deft touch inside the box, attributes that have proven valuable for the quick approach to offense the team has.

Parting with Doyle was painful, as he was the top striker in Division Two when we were there and was second on the club in the Championship season, getting a 20-year-old scoring machine with so much upside was too much to resist.

How He Worked Out: The best of all the player purchases, bar none. His chemistry with fellow striker Leigh Griffiths has guaranteed my Wolves club a two goal output in every game, and the two have quickly jumped to second and third in the BPL scoring race.

While Wolves haven't really been able to say it since the 1950s, at least in FIFA 14, this might be their year.
