Every year one of the most requested additions to Career Mode is a training option but so far we're yet to see anything. It's a necessary area for FIFA to move into as it improves the impact that the player themself would have on a team, rather than just how good your ability is on the field. By focusing on certain areas of training, players' attributes would possibly improve. Obviously, this would be more likely for the younger players rather than the experienced but it would give players the opportunity to improve a set area of their team. For example, if you're entire squad is poor at set-pieces, dealing with aerial balls and heading then focus on this area would change that. In order to make this work properly, neglecting areas would mean that your team would be less effective as a result, but that's when the decision factor comes in. What exactly needs to be improved? What can afford to decrease? What's the best area to focus on. These are the questions players should face. This would give an individual more control over their team in Career Mode and would be an extremely beneficial addition to the game itself.
