The press conferences in Career Mode were added to give the game a more realistic feel and the feature offered the chance to have some impact on what news stories emerge and what commentators make during a game. So far the available choices are the opposition manager, last result, the opposition, your team or an individual player. These need to be expanded more rather than just praise or unnerve: in Football Manager, there are extended options that are given after a question has been asked, and naturally, there is also more than one question asked. Providing us with this option would affect the game as a whole and if done correctly, would have a huge implication on the future of our game. Slating a player, team or manager would implicate whether you could sign a player from that club or manage that team in the future, which would require you to be careful with your wording in a press conference- like managers should be in the real world. This option would give the player a few potential routes to go down with their manager. Will you be the mind games type, trying to win the battle before the war? Or will you be the type who refuses to give any hints, meaning that your opposition may modify their tactics before the game? Obviously your approach could either benefit or harm your chances.
