FIFA 15: 10 Changes Career Mode MUST Have

5. Transfer Activity

Transfers in Career Mode are obviously a huge part of the game, though there are some huge underlying problems that prevent the game from being as good as it can be. The problems do not lie in the transfer process itself, the problem is the realism in the game - most notable with the deals that the AI teams make. Over the years Career Mode players have seen some bizarre things: Manchester United and Liverpool swapping players, Aguero moving from Manchester City to Fulham, Robben joining QPR, who were still in the Championship... And sadly, these bizarre deals increase as you complete each season and things can get very strange indeed. Another problem is that we see clubs benefited by the arrival of a megabucks owner but few clubs will ever be seen sliding into financial difficulties, meaning that you could have a league where ten teams are funded by billionaires, which in FIFA isn't very good at all. Then, the price of players doesn't change depending on their parent club's position. In real life when a club is relegated players are often allowed to leave for a reduced fee but in FIFA you still have to pay the usual amount and on certain occasions the club will block the transfer altogether, wanting to keep hold of their prized player when it's obvious that in the real world there is more chance of hell freezing over than that player plying his trade in the second tier of English football.
