FIFA 15: 10 Features We Can Expect To See Transferred From 2014 World Cup Game

7. Heading Improvements

In previous editions of FIFA, emerging victorious in an aerial situation was a random affair and at times it led to bizarre scenarios like Per Mertesacker being out-jumped by diminutive opponents like Vurnon Anita. Thankfully, these days look like they will be a thing of the past as FIFA are introducing their over-the-back headers improvement. The players with better aerial ability will show it in aerial battles on the field and will now able to head the ball away in any given direction, meaning that defenders can clear the ball more realistically and strikers will attempt to head the ball backwards towards goal if they need to, rather than try a ridiculous and unsuccessful bicycle kick. The changes will modify the way you use your team on the field, encouraging you to work towards your team's strengths more than ever before. It also means that aerial battles will become a much bigger and more important area of the game.
