FIFA 15: 10 Players Who Need Downgrading After World Cup
7. Edinson Cavani 87
Though news this week has linked PSGs 64.5 million striker with Premier League big-boys Man United and Chelsea, there can be no denying that Edinson Cavani had a disappointing showing in Brazil which should ideally result in his being downgraded. His current rating of 87 has him ranked as one of the best players on the whole game even though anybody who saw his performances in the World Cup will tell you that this certainly isnt the case. The Uruguayan squad may have emerged from a relatively hard group but this was mainly down to the excessive talent of Luis Suarez rather than the contribution of Cavani. Though the athletic forward scored a goal which proved to be inconsequential in the sides 3-1 loss to Costa Rica, he squandered several chances in the following games which could have been huge for Uruguay if converted. The 27-year-old may have looked unstoppable in Serie A with Napoli but unfortunately since joining PSG he has looked far less venomous in front of goal for both club and country. Suggested Rating: 82
