FIFA 15: 10 Players Who Need Downgrading After World Cup
5. Fernando Torres 82
It says a lot when the supporters of the club a player is signed to are flabbergasted when one of their own players gets an international call-up this was the reaction of many Chelsea fans to Torres being selected for the mighty Spanish side. After another lacklustre season at Stamford Bridge it was believed that other Spanish forwards would be selected over Torres. The scepticism of Chelsea fans was proved to be justified when the once-awesome Torres looked like the player who has been frustrating to watch in the Premier League over the past few seasons. Torres may have delivered some fantastic performances for Spain but he was unable to provide the former champions with an offensive edge after it was confirmed that Diego Costas style didnt marry well with the short passes of the Spanish. The call for Torres to be downgraded on FIFA has been ongoing for the past few instalments of the gaming franchise but his latest (and possibly last?) performances for Spain have done nothing to change this widely held opinion.
