7. That VO2 Max Doesn't Exist

Usain Bolt can run 100 meters in 9.58 seconds, and World's Fastest Man or not there's no way he could run at that pace for 90 minutes. But it would seem that every player in FIFA Ultimate Team can. There is no secret that EA tweaked the fatigue of players in FUT: they wanted to make the game more enjoyable and 'fun' but in doing so have created an environment which is unrealistic and damn right irritating for people who want to play football. For the full 90 minutes, you can set your team to chase down the opposition, harassing them into giving up possession. One through ball later and you are 1-0 up. This is a legitimate footballing tactic, and although there are some teams who could keep this up for 90 minutes, it is not sustainable consecutively. This means that there is only one style of football that dominates throughout FIFA. It would probably be more acceptable if players picked up injuries during this style of play or suffered a negative effect with their passing/shooting accuracy, but they don't and so quick counterattacks and high pressure are the sure fire way to win - unless FIFA don't want you to. And that leads us to scripting...
