FIFA 14 Rating - 85 For me personally, 85 is about right for a young player who started the season exceptionally well before dropping off after Christmas. EA are likely to give him a boost however, reflecting his Young Player Of The Year award and strong goal return of 17 in all competitions compared to 13 the previous year. I don't expect they'll go too high, but an overall rating of about 87 seems likely, putting him in the game's top tier of talent while still acknowledging that he's got a little way to go before making it up into the 90s with Messi and Ronaldo. Hazard's individual stats are generally reflective of his real-life game, though his crossing of 80 is too high considering it's something he rarely does and isn't particularly special when it happens. His finishing of 78 will probably get a push up to 80, though going any higher would probably risk exaggerating the fact he doesn't take as many shots as he should. His PL shooting accuracy of 59% was nevertheless strong last season, so an increase would definitely reflect that. Otherwise his stats are generally fair from my perspective, echoing his outstanding Agility, burst of Acceleration and general technical skill in addition to shortcomings in his defensive work, where, amusingly, his numbers last season were lower than those of Juan Mata, whom Mourinho sold for not tracking back enough.
