Left-back Rodriguez has been instrumental in the success of Wolfsburg this season, and is once again another defender who has scored more than the Nicklas Bendtner. More importantly, he is currently one of, if not the best left-back in the world.

His attacking form has been astonishing this season, with 10 goals and three assists from his left-back position. Compared to some of the best left-backs in the world like Alaba, Baines, Marcelo, and Alba, Rodriguez has a better overall performance score according to Squawka. He has also been awarded with four Man of the Match awards this season, and at the age of 22 he's only going to improve.

He has been one of the best defenders in the league this season, and partnered with Naldo it's been a tough defence to come up against, not to mention how much of a threat he has been at the other end of the pitch. It's been an incredible season for Ricardo Rodriguez, and a +3 upgrade is more than justifiable.
