FIFA 16s Ultimate Team Draft Mode is another of the new additions to this years game and players will get their first opportunity to experience it in the demo version. The Draft Mode has been described as essentially being Ultimate Team Lite and it is said to contain all the fun elements of building an all-star team without the time and effort required in the standard FUT mode. The Draft Mode essentially works as follows: first you pick a formation for your team from a choice of 5 formations (4-3-2-1, 4-3-3 Defend, 4-4-2, 4-1-2-1-2 Wide or 4-2-3-1 Wide). You are then provided with a choice of five players and have to choose one of them as your captain. You will then select the players from the remaining positions in the same way, receiving a new choice of 5 players on each occasion. It is entirely up to the player to decide whether they want to focus on maximizing team chemistry or to just pick the best rated players out of each selection. The full version of FIFA 16 will include all available FUT players in the draft (including Legends on Xbox consoles) and will see the player challenging opponents, either AI or online, across a four-match series, earning rewards such as coins and FUT card packs for winning. Whether or not the demo mode will include all of this, or be restricted to just the players from the 10 mens teams included remains to be seen. However one thing that is for certain is that it will be an essential part of the demo. Are you excited to play FIFA 16? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread below.
