FIFA 18: 10 Improvements We Want To See In Career Mode

7. Less Tedious International Management

FIFA 17 England

The ability to manage an international side along with a club team felt like a nifty addition several years ago, but EA have proceeded to do absolutely nothing to build on the feature in subsequent FIFA games. Managing any country now feels like more of a hindrance that does nothing to enhance your manager's reputation.

Winning the World Cup with England (for example) should be treated like a bigger deal than bagging the Capital One Cup with Chelsea, and that needs to be clearly presented in FIFA 18. Why wouldn't clubs be interested in the manager who grabbed England's first international win since 1966?

Across the board, managing national teams needs to be much less tedious in FIFA 18. Currently, it's just match after match, with no emphasis on who is picked to represent their country. Does anybody actually play those friendlies?

International management needs a rethink.
