FIFA 18: 10 Things EA Need To Steal From PES

2. The Ability To Import Kits & Teams

One big selling point of FIFA is the knowledge that all official club kits and logos will be available from the off. PES remedied their own lack of licences by releasing data packs that feature real-life strips and logos players can then (somewhat straightforwardly) copy into the game.

EA Sports don't necessarily need to outright lift this idea, but FIFA could do with some more customisation. Imagine being able to edit your chosen team's strip each season, debuting a new kit that could then be sold to fans for additional income. That's a tantalising prospect for FIFA players forced to see Chelsea pull on the 2016-2017 kit a decade later in Career Mode.

Being able to create full teams and stadiums would also be wonderful. PES has always been a more customisable experience generally, but there's no reason why EA Sports can't make FIFA a creator's paradise too. Simply being able to import images so teams don't have the same sponsor every season would be a start.
