FIFA 19: 10 Changes To Be Most Excited About
7. The In-Built Tracking System
This is one for the Footy Manager crowd.
Statisticians should rejoice, as EA are now thinking along the same lines you always have. Stats will play a larger role in FIFA 19's game world, and they'll be more detailed than ever. Fancy knowing how many times your main striker scored in the top left corner? Now you can, and that's not all.
19's stat tracking system will keep tabs on how you fared (and with which teams) against other players online. Further, data will be collected on individual player records, meaning you'll have in-depth knowledge on who's phoning it in on the park. This level of information is any pitch side manager's wet dream.
In a neat touch, EA will also transfer info between consoles. That means friends will be able to easily compare stats and keep their own fantasy league going without a pen and paper. Time to start bragging that you scored a hat-trick of chip shots with Sheffield United's Billy Sharp and your pal couldn't even score one with Harry Kane.
