Not too long ago, Luis Suarez could have been considered one of the top three football players on the planet. From 2012-2014, his final two seasons at Liverpool, Suarez scored 54 goals and tore the Premier League to bits.

Following several scandals and a bite at The World Cup that perhaps knowingly forced Liverpool's hand, Suarez was sold to Barcelona for £64 million. Unlike Coutinho who followed him a few years later, Suarez absolutely lived-up to the hype; netting a whopping 184 goals in all competitions.

The Uruguayan striker is still one of the world's best but his stats show he is on the decline. His goal tally has been steadily falling since his insane 64 in all competitions in 2015/16. As such, his standard rating of 91 in FIFA is beginning to look a bit much.

Last year Suarez scored a respectable 21 times in La Liga. Iago Aspas scored 20. Suarez is rated 91, while Aspas is 84. Does that make sense? Of course not, but Suarez is a big name at one of the biggest clubs in the world. If EA had a backbone, it would give Suarez a more accurate rating of 86 for FIFA 20.
