FIFA 21: 10 Latest Rumours You Need To Know

1. EA Will Lose Other Licenses?

It was a hammer blow to FIFA's credibility when Konami swooped in to secure exclusivity over Juventus last year. EA's show had always relied on being license-heavy, and some started to doubt their power when CR7 and the lads turned up in pink and black as "Piemonte Calcio".

This nonstop battle for rights looks set to continue.

Konami recently announced that they won't have the rights for either AC or Inter Milan in their forthcoming update. Who knows what extent the changes to those clubs will look like (generic logos, kits and stadia seem likely though). That might also free up money to steal yet more thunder from EA.

Juventus' deal with PES has another two years to run, meaning Piemonte Calcio are here to stay for another few FIFAs regardless of what happens with other clubs. This, along with the ever-looming threat to EA's crown, has some fans concerned that FIFA 21 will quietly shed another few licenses before launch.
