FIFA 21: 10 Reasons To Be Worried
6. The Same Old Bugs
They're not too keen on fixing bugs either.
It's quite the achievement that modern footy games run as they do, to be fair. The amount of coding that goes into ensuring all FIFA's variables must be staggering, and it's perhaps understandable that some minor things will go wrong from time-to-time.
What's not acceptable is when basic things keep on happening. Goalkeepers clip through their nets and posts, limbs ghost through one another when players collide and other odd idiosyncrasies occur at the most inopportune times; this player has lost count of the number of times goalies randomly wander off to the side of their box rather than stay put, for example.
There are loads of YouTube videos that poke fun at FIFA glitches, but they're only funny when they're not happening to you. There's a solid chance that 21 will release with a bunch of familiar and new bugs that detract from the experience.
