The annual release cycle of the FIFA series has led many to criticise EA for releasing games that are essentially only marginally different on a year by year basis. However, FIFA 21 has the opportunity to buck this trend by being released on the next generation of consoles with the improved hardware more than likely leading to the game having significant graphical advancements on its predecessors.
However, graphics certainly aren't everything, and with the rumoured prices for both Sony and Microsoft's newest offerings proving to be higher than many expected, FIFA 21 on next-gen hardware should provide players with a totally new experience.
Though the claim that the improvements implemented in the next generation of consoles will be the biggest in gaming history is yet to be substantiated, fans deserve to see something as mind-blowing as when the series first made the jump to HD.
