7. Third/Goalkeeper Kits
Right, this is a confusing one.
EA’s language was a bit unclear when they were discussing this, but it looks like you’ll be able to create customisable third kits for authentic clubs in FIFA 23. The same with goalie kits too; one of the 'Pitch Notes' vids showed off personalised home, away, third and GK strips.
The long and short of it is that you might be able to circumvent real-world licensing issues by switching up your home kit every season. There's nothing stopping players from picking that third kit for home matches in the menus, which means...more replicas of real-world faves, or maybe even retro kits.
Oh, the possibilities.
Licensing has always been a love/hate thing in FIFA. Fans adore the authenticity, but it does restrict EA's ability to include kit customisation options. Roll on picking Man Utd and making them play in white - y'know, because they practically surrender before the first whistle these days anyway.
