FIFA World Cup 2014: 10 Things It Does Better Than FIFA 14

3. Set-Piece Tactics

Set-pieces have become a drab affair on FIFA, which lack in benefits and infuriate every player. It's the same old thing time and time again, resulting in winning corners or free-kicks becoming more like a burden than a reward. Fortunately, EA has answered our prayers and responded with set-piece tactics- which are incredible. At a corner a player now has the option to crowd the goalkeeper or run to the edge of the box, near or far post. The decision you make actually matters, as you can see your teammates responding to your call in the box and moving accordingly. Each opponent seems to be better adapted to certain tactics, which means you'll have to work out a weakness. Every FIFA fan has been calling out for this feature for years but until now, there's been no response. Corners now come with clear benefits and we're certain to see plenty of spectacular goals using the run to the edge of the box feature. It's a good thing keepers have improved, otherwise your defence will leak goals.
