Hell House was a strange encounter in the original game's Sector 6. Cloud and Aerith are on their way to Sector 7 and suddenly they're fighting a house. At first it looks innocent, then it sprouts arms, a head, and rockets.

The Remake took this slightly ridiculous enemy and flipped it into a monstrosity that was the first true test for most players. It's a beast to take down, especially if you struggle with it's elemental defences, but a wonderful surprise to see make a reappearance. Adding a hard mode twist makes this one fight worth fighting twice.

Eligor in the classic game already had the appearance of a boss. Seeing him in the new and improved train graveyard with his upgraded horse and chariot was terrifying. His battle is one where you really need to juggle your fighters effectively. He uses stun and silence like nobody's business and can quickly turn the tide of the fight if you're not careful. Though if he could stop flying into the air, that'd be really great.

Swordipede may have one of the silliest names out of these three, but it's only because, now that he's a boss, he couldn't go by Sword Dance (the original name in classic FF7). Definitely a glow up from classic to Remake. Swordipede's fight may not be the hardest, but if you're not paying attention it can take out your team. Definitely better having one large one instead of fighting through waves of small versions.
