Thankfully, although FF7 Remake only focuses on the opening fifth of the full original's story, Square Enix have padded things out and included enough content for what they call, "a full JRPG experience".

Personally I hit credits 30 hours in, having completed the vast majority of side missions and acquired almost all the weapons.

I've since been going back through to mop everything else up and get the Platinum trophy, but know that playing normally - not rushing - and taking in most of the content on offer, that's a 30 hour playtime.
