If you're not regularly using your Assess materia to scan enemies and not reading absolutely everything on the screen, this one can actually be very easy to miss.

The unique weapon for Aerith, the Bladed Staff, can only be obtained once in the game during the boss fight against Eligor in the Train Graveyard. This weapon is unique to the game because it's the only one that can be stolen from an enemy; the rest you'll either pick up in shops, or in chests dotted around the world.

Make sure you've got your Steal materia equipped before heading into the boss fight, as you'll need to nab the weapon from the boss during the fight.

The Bladed Staff comes with the ability Lustrous Shield, which will conjure up a handy magical shield to reflect projectiles and stop enemies in their tracks.

If you're after trophies, you'll need to make sure you pick this up as there's one for learning all weapon abilities, requiring you to get all weapons.
