7. DLC Options

Regardless of how you feel about it, DLC is here and it looks like it's here to stay. Virtually every game released these days has DLC options and there's no reason that the FF7 remake should be any different.

As mentioned, there's a lot that can be done in the world of FF7 and DLC is the perfect way to explore some of that world. The aforementioned Aerith resurrection is one such option that would be great for a DLC.

You can also have options for side-quest or prequel DLCs. Play as the Turks in missions that occur either during or even before the game. How great would it be to play as Reno, Rude and company? Or play as Vincent when he was still one of the Turks before Hojo experimented on him.

Fight as Sephiroth in the war with Wutai or Seto in the Gi attack on Cosmo Canyon. Experience some of Zack's missions before he went to Nibelheim, or how about how Red XIII went from Cosmo Canyon to being a prisoner of Hojo.

Or unlock additional characters to play as in the Gold Saucer's Battle Arena. Many of the characters also changed their appearance in Advent Children and some characters like Cloud gained additional looks in other games such as Kingdom Hearts. The ability to purchase some of those costumes would be great.
