Final Fantasy VII Remake: 10 Things Everybody Missed In The New Trailer

9. Barrett's Original Tattoo Is Gone

2005's Final Fantasy VII continuation, Advent Children, attempted to update the roster by reworking many of their costumes and character traits in subtle yet very memorable ways. One of these was Barrett's shoulder tattoo, which still retained the general skull n' flames idea, but was stretched into a full piece for his upper arm. Eagle-eyed fans will have spotted the fact that its this newer design Square are running with for whatever reason, rather than adapting the original. It's a tiny point, but when you've got people complaining about the amount of spikes on Cloud's head, you can bet your bottom dollar someone out there is already writing a detailed breakdown of why this 'ruins the game' already.
