Final Fantasy XV: 10 Essential Tips & Tricks You Need To Know

7. Go Hunting

Final Fantasy XV
Square Enix

Your first series of optional side quests come in the form of hunts. As you visit each small stop along the sides of the highways, the owners of the local delicatessens will impart knowledge about the surrounding area, including what wildlife is harrassing the neighbours.

Complete.these.hunts!

At least, complete the lower levelling hunts from the first two-three towns you come across. They are a great way to level your characters up quickly, earn some precious AP to unlock some useful skills, and help get to grips with the combat in a real setting against enemies with varying abilities. Try out the full range of Noctis' weapons, explore different mixes of magic, and see how well you can link up with your team mates in battle.

The road ahead is a rocky and sometimes isolating one for Noctis - there is never a better time for some early testing and quick levelling than the opening hour or two of the game.
