Displayed on the information panel at the top of the screen when a unit is selected - or on the character screen - tapping on each skill will provide additional information. The main three are your Weapon Skill, Command Skill, and Special Skill.

The Weapon affects your Might stat, and may also offer other bonuses (such as increased damage against certain units, or automatic self-healing every few turns).

Command Skills are used to help allies, but remember that using a Command Skill will take up that character’s turn.

Special Skills are potent abilities which run on a cooldown. When the purple counter by your Hero on the battlefield reaches zero, the Skill will trigger automatically when its condition is next fulfilled.

The final three skills, listed as A, B, and C, are Passive Skills. These apply additional benefits to your Hero, either permanently or when specific conditions are met.

You can teach new skills to your Heroes by heading to 'Learn Skills' under the 'Allies' tab. Here, you can spend your SP on learning new skills. You can only equip one skill in each slot - usually new skills will be a direct upgrade, but in some circumstances you may have two viable skills to choose between for a single slot.

A Hero earns SP every time they defeat another unit in combat or when they level up, so be sure to check back regularly to upgrade your skills when you can afford to.
