First WWE 2K16 Footage - Everything You Need To Know
2. They're Finally Fixing Reversals
More a problem in multiplayer and online modes (which is apparently undergoing a massive overhaul), the frustration of a match in WWE 2K15 ending up being little more than a string of constant reversals should be a familiar notion to regular players of the previous instalment. Knowing when to hit "R2" means finishing manoeuvres are often rendered useless, with matches becoming a string of running moves which aren't quite so easy to counter. It's not exactly how matches pan out on TV! Now, each match is going to start with players having only a limited number of reversals at their disposal. When one is used, it takes time to regenerate, and if you end up using them all from the second the bell rings...well, you'll completely run out and will be stuck waiting for them to slowly return while receiving an absolute pummelling. While this is going to no doubt force us all to play the game in a very different way (and one which hopefully reflects what happens in real matches), it also sounds like it's going to take some getting use to as it's a relatively complicated system. You'll actually be able to pass on the chance to reverse a move when it starts in order to perform a more difficult "major" reversal mid-move. While that will eat up more of the reversals you hold, it can significantly change the match, helping you win even if you've been losing up until that point.
