9. Transfer Budgets
Being rewarded with a whopping great transfer kitty doesn't sound like the worst thing in the world, and if you are the manager of an elite European club it certainly isn't. However, my problem lies a little further down the proverbial table, you see it is a little less believable when you are in charge of West London minnows Fulham (no offence to any cottagers out there) and you are handed £38 million pounds to spend in the summer. This is exactly what happened to me on my most recent season and, happy as I was, it did leave me feeling a little uneasy and again questioning the realism of the game, something of unrivalled importance when it comes to a manager sim.
