6. Make Your Own Club Without The Editor
A game mode where you can build your own club from scratch would be brilliant. You make the kit, stadium, crest etc. Then you enter into the lowest tier of football and work your way up. This would be so much better than having to go into the editor every time you want to try something like this. It would add more playing time and become a selling point because it will be a challenge to get to the top division of whatever country you are in. You could be given a set of random players, get to choose out of a list of free agents within a wage budget or even create all of your players but statistics are limited and the players get better depending on how well you manage and train them. This is another reason why the training system needs improving. You could even make yourself a player-manager at that level for the first season or two. This could be good for your reputation if you perform well.
7. Challenges
Give us a challenge! Instead of just being able to start a game to do whatever you want to do. Give us a game mode where we are set a challenge such as, win the league in 'x' amount of seasons with a certain team or avoid relegation with the worst team in the league without spending any money. Challenges like this will appeal more to the casual player so they don't have to be committed to just playing on and on. This has been tried on other football games such as Fifa and other manager games. People like a challenge and people will keep replaying it if they fail. It creates more of a purpose to play a manager game for someone who usually isn't interested because they don't see the point or an end goal to everything.
