16. Vanishing Spray

One of the more trivial additions, it may be, but the first uses of the set piece encroachment deterrent have been met with bizarre delight in European football. While more aesthetic than practical in terms of a virtual match simulator, vanishing spray would definitely be a topical sprinkling of novelty value - though only if the referee's apply it rather quickly. While encroaching for both penalties and free-kicks simply doesn't occur, utilising the spray would be a definite sign of the times, following its success and popularity during the World Cup in Brazil. Whether some crowd audio can be inserted to accompany the referee's spouting of foam, cheering delusionally for whatever reason, remains to be seen. It would add sweet nothing in terms of gameplay, but would be nice, contextual little optional extra.
