Football Manager 2015: 20 Ultimate Wishlist Features It Must Include

17. Ability To Negotiate Continued Pay

It has happened to all of us before, you just can't get rid of that one problem player. Whether it be his temperament or he's just not up to standard any more, he's undeniably deadwood but on a long-term contract for whatever frustrating reason. After offering said player around the transfer market, you can't find a potential suitor - or he turns down a buying club due to their wage demands not being sufficient. Eventually, it'll come to a point where the parasite wants money to move, as it will usually be to a financially weaker side. Unfortunately, as it stands, you can't negotiate. It's either accept his very blunt terms, or you continue to be lugged with a percentage of his wages for up to, heaven forbid, three or four years. For big clubs, this can be a real long-term expense, but probably better than a loan deal. A bit of negotiation with the outgoing player wouldn't go amiss to keep costs down.
