Football Manager 2019: 10 New Features On Our Early Wishlist
1. Customisable Stadiums
In the last few instalments, Football Manager has offered an array of tools players can use to personalise their avatar more extensively than ever before. Hopefully this was just the beginning, and customisation will be expanded to other areas of the game.
Stadium building tools would be a welcome addition. Right now, ground improvements are an automated process, but giving players free reign over them would help them stamp their individuality on their latest save game.
SimCity level depth would no doubt be overkill, but there's no reason why FM19 shouldn't follow in the footsteps of games like FIFA Manager and the LMA series by allowing users to dictate which aspects of their stadium are improved and how.
Now would be a good time to implement this feature because advancements to Football Manager's graphics engine in recent years mean this year's edition should be capable of some decent 3D stadium visuals.
