As well as the immediately recognisable look and sound of each faction's warriors in For Honor, their individual styles of architecture and cultural differences are also massively diverse when looking at real-world examples.
This has been carried over in to the game as well. The maps in For Honor feature adornments, buildings, or environmental settings for each of the factions, and these have been given the same care and attention to detail that the hero classes themselves benefit from.
In the ongoing "Faction Wars" portion of online multiplayer matches, these adornments and fixtures even change on each map depending on which faction holds that region. That in itself is a small difference, but it's a level of detail that players certainly appreciate as they fight for dominance.
