Fortnite 2 Season 3 - 10 Tweaks It NEEDS To Stay On Top

6. Mythic Weapons

From Infinity Blades to gleaming, golden mini-guns, mythic weapons are an ever-present in the world of Fortnite. Often reserved for specific game modes, many make their way into public battle royale lobbies, much to the consternation of their participants. So what’s the issue? They are very, very powerful. Often ridiculously so.

In fact, some mythics cause such uproar that they last in-game for mere hours before Epic are forced to remove them for some modest remodelling. The aforementioned Infinity Blade is a prime example of this OP potential. “But what about the current crop!?” I hear you say?

Yes, admittedly, Chapter Two, Season Two has seen Epic come as close as they ever have to perfecting the recipe. Supercharging battle royal lobbies with seven mythic weapons, this bunch are more powerful than your run-of-the-mill legendary class… but not shockingly so.

Don’t get me wrong, mythic weapons should provide an advantage but they shouldn’t overwhelm a target and generally the current bunch tow that line. That being said, the aforementioned mini-gun comes particularly close to tipping the scales. However, all things considered, if Epic apply their current formula to all future mythic weapons, they won’t go far wrong.
