4. Marauders
It's not just sharks that you'll have to watch out for when swimming around the new map - there are also roving bands of enemies called Marauders to contend with. At certain points in the game, a large capsule will come crashing out of the sky, unleashing a group of Marauders who then seek out and attack players.
Marauders act much like the Henchmen introduced in Season 2, but often pose a much bigger threat. They're much more coordinated, and unlike Henchmen they can appear anywhere at any time to take you unawares. They're also equipped with high-level weapons, and come in three types: bigger Marauders get up close and personal with short range weapons, more precise ones hang back and snipe, and tactical Marauders lob stink bombs from mid-range.
They can be a force to be reckoned with, but taking on Marauders successfully will reward you with a number of at least Epic level items. Make sure you're prepared before you jump into a fight with them and the resulting loot will be definitely worth your while - if you can survive.
