Fortnite: 6 Massive Changes In Season 3
2. New Challenges
As with every new season, there are a whole host of new challenges on offer, many of them revolving around the map's new aquatic features. As well as the usual weekly challenges, however, there are some new additions to help you rack up the XP and rocket through battle pass levels.
First there are the new Punchcard missions, 49 sets of five missions revolving around different themes such as getting weapon expert medals, being the first in a match to complete certain actions, and even thanking the battle bus driver. These punchcards are hidden until you complete one of their missions, encouraging you to experiment and explore the island to its fullest to find them all.
There are also new Quick Challenges, which take the place of the old daily medal system. There are five to complete at a time, with simple tasks like collecting materials, landing at named locations and damaging players with certain weapons. These are a great way to gain XP quickly, and they're a lot more varied than the old medal system which helps to keep things fresh with constantly updating goals.
