3. CDPR Confirms Cyberpunk 2077 Connects To The Witcher 3

Alright, so this... is a little strange, but it's not like anyone expected Keanu freakin' Reeves to show up as an unannounced main character in Cyberpunk 2077 either.

So, just for the sake of a fun thing CD Projekt RED could do, how about addressing the fact that Ciri has visited Night City - or at least some recognisably "cyberpunky" part of that world?

How do we know? Because it's an easter egg/reference in The Witcher 3:

The passage comes when Ciri is discussing hiding from The Wild Hunt themselves, and notes that after going through a portal to another dimension, there were "people with metal in their heads", who "waged war from a distance using things similar to megascopes".

Obviously yes, this is just meant as a playful reference, but Cyberpunk has been in development since 2013, and what harm is there in CDPR tying their two major franchises together?

Open a teaser trailer on Ciri, have her stand up, dust herself off - then reveal she's standing in a field surrounded by tall, futuristic buildings and flying cars.

Clearly Ciri spent enough time in the future to understand how conflict has changed, so why not be the one thing everyone comes out of Gamescom talking about, without having to worry about another hands-on demo?
