3. Jayson Stratton
Jace originally had a mixed reaction from fans when he became playable in Gears of War 3.
He was introduced as a rookie member that accompanied Delta Squad during a graphic novel. Thankfully, Jace managed to survive his time alongside Marcus and the boys all the way through the third game and then some.
Unfortunately for Jace, he had some extremely big boots to fill as he is thrust into the forefront by replacing Dom following his heartbreaking death.
During the events of Gears 5, Jace gets a subtle easter egg hinting at what happened to him after the Locust war. Turns out the young COG ended up as an actor and with any luck survived the opening Swarm attack.
Whether Jace would be reintroduced with a brand new look or if he would adopt his previous character model is uncertain, it could be that The Coalition is saving this reveal for a future installment.
