Ghost Of Tsushima: 10 Things We NEED To See

1. A Good Story

It goes without saying that we expect a great, lengthy story told in Ghost of Tsushima. A tale with substance and meaning. Something that forks off down different paths depending on what choices you make to add replayability.

The narrative of The Witcher 3 was some of the most incredible storytelling we have ever seen in a game. The winding paths, the numerous different ways of approaching things, and the vastly different outcomes depending on your choices. The whole thing was just an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end (on all three of my playthroughs).

We expect the Ghost of Tsushima to follow in these footsteps. The developers themselves say that Samurai Cinema is a big inspiration, so we hope to see this shine through in the narrative. The story of Jin already has so much potential, one of the last Samurai, his brothers slain by the invading Mongol armies. It is up to Jin to right this wrong and have his vengeance, hopefully meeting a variety of colourful and compelling characters along the way.
