2. Punching His Dad's Face Into A Bloody Mist

Kratos may admittedly have some pretty damn biblical daddy issues, but even so, his blood-soaked final fisticuffs with Zeus in God of War III was a pure exercise in unrestrained sadism.

In the game's final boss fight between father and son, Kratos unleashes the full extent of his murderous rage, grabbing Zeus and punching his face into a bloody pulp.

For added visceral impact, the scene takes place from a first-person perspective, with the screen becoming literally flooded with blood to the point that you can't see what the hell you're doing.

Granted, Zeus needed to die an excessively brutal death, but even accepting this and how much of a s**theel Zeus was to his son throughout the series, it's tough to totally justify this one.
